Historic Castle Nearby a Historic City

map_display
Creysse, France

The original castle building burned down hundred of years ago, but was in 1960 completely reconstructed by a French ambassador, as he returned to his home region, Bergerac. The ambassador owned the castle until the current owner acquired it in 2004. This means that the castle is fully modern, with central heating, sewer, electricity, internet connection and telephone, although it completely appears like an old castle.

This property offers a maximum of privacy. The building is a unique castle surrounded by nature and lays totally undisturbed in the beautiful South West of France. This property does not only contain a timeless and fairly modern castle but also a generous swimming pool, a bath house, a large barn, and a separate living house.
Despite the total isolation the historic town of Bergerac lies just 5km away. Restaurants, shops or schools: There you will find anything you need. Even the Bergerac International Airport is only about 15 minutes away by car.
